During the internship, I was involved in various stages of commercial project development, including concept assistance, design execution, material exploration, fabrication processes, and installation support. Working alongside industry professionals allowed me to understand real-world production workflows, client requirements, time management, and industry standards.

This degree project is developed as part of my studies at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), Canterbury, with the project site located at the Historic Dockyard, Chatham. The project explores the relationship between contemporary creative practice and a historically significant industrial site, responding to the dockyard’s rich maritime heritage, spatial qualities, and cultural context.
