Description
Joshua Slocum’s pioneering spirit as the first person to sail single-handedly around the world, highlighting his courage, isolation, journey and navigation skills achieved with and without modern technology.
Objective
To explore and interpret Joshua Slocum’s solo voyage around the world by examining how his journey represents human endurance, self-reliance, and exploration before the age of digital navigation — conveying his experience through immersive storytelling room , hand on experience , environment and spatial design.
